This means that we need to ask you to change your password to meet the new requirements. Below we provide a number of methods for password change – all methods ensure that your new password meets the new tightened security requirements.
You need to change your password before September 17, 2020. After this day, you won't be able to sign in to AAU services without changing your password.
If you have changed your password after September 2nd at 12:00 you do not need to change it again. If you yet have not changed youre after september 2nd at 12:00 you must change it no later than September 17th.
We recommend that you change your password while you are on campus with access to the AAU network. Several methods for password change are available at AAU:
- Change your password on your AAU work computer. Find instructions on our website (staff only).
- Change your password via webmail. Log in to mail.aau.dk with your existing password and select the toothed wheel on the right side at the top of the page, then click “Options”, “General”, “My account” and finally “Change your password”.
- Change your password with NemID. Go to www.nyadgangskode.aau.dk/new-password/ and follow the instructions.
If none of the above options works for you, please contact us at email@example.com or tel. +45 9940 2020.
Your new password must be changed at least once a year.
Further information and contact
We strongly recommend that you do not use the same password for your AAU-account and other AAU services or private matters. If you need to use and remember many different passwords, we recommend that you use a "password manager".
Remember: Your password is private and should not be shared with others. AAU will never ask you to share your password, neither in support situations.
