Most staff members at AAU use several IT systems and services on a daily basis in their work. For most of us, they are indispensable tools, so when they sometimes inevitably are inaccessible, hit by system errors or something else, confusion can quickly arise, with questions like: What's wrong? Is ITS solving the problem? How long will it take before I can work in the system again?

- We have more than 300 IT systems and services at AAU that are constantly being developed, improved and security-updated, and this inevitably but regrettably of course causes inconvenience to users. In these situations, we would of course like to let staff and students know that we are working on solving the problems as soon as possible and give them some idea of when we expect everything to be working normally again. We can do this via Serviceinfo, which also gives staff and students a subscription option, says Anja Mørck Bredal, Team Leader at IT Support, AAU.

Service info can be found on the website  https://www.its.aau.dk/serviceinfo where there is also guidance on how to sign up for subscriptions to either a few selected or all AAU services and systems, and you can opt to receive information by either email or SMS.

If you do not wish to sign up for a subscription and receive direct notification in your inbox or by SMS, the current operational and service information can always be accessed just by visiting the page https://www.its.aau.dk/serviceinfo
